Inspired by our French Creole ancestry, the Caribana Cuisine section of our menu reflects culinary influence from France, The Caribbean Islands, and Louisiana.
Came here for brunch a week ago and loveddd it! I'm vegetarian so I was a little worried I wouldn't have any options because it's a Caribbean cuisine but ended up full with leftovers. The service was great, Jay gave me and my friend a great first visit. The mimosa flavors are AMAZING also. Would definitely come again.
Brunch and bottomless mimosas with friends. And this what ima do til it's over, but it's far from over. Can't wait to visit this spot again. Bullfish came with it! The oxtails and grits were insane in the best way possible! My friend had the fish and couldn't stop raving about it. Everything tasted good tbh. Customer service was great and the wait wasn't unbearable.
I first visited The Bullfish early pandemic with a friend. I ordered jerk shrimp, rice and greens. Everything was seasoned just right and the greens tasted like my daddy greens so they were 5 star by themselves. I went home and wrote a review on their FB page. A few months later, I visited them again I ordered the Jamaican Jeark Fish Fillet with 2 sides including greens
My wife and I were visiting Baton Rouge and stopped by LSU and Southern. We wanted to try something different from the Seafood and Cajun eateries we had already visited on our trip. When we got to Bullfish, they were actually closing up to prepare for a private event.
I call this a Caribbean restaurant from the island of Baton Rouge!! Very authentic flavors, larger than expected portions, up beat vibe, and lots of character. My server, host, greeter, and champion smiler, Udo, as I was introduced, was taking care of the entire front of the house. He never lost a step or the smile!!
